Since we are not traveling as many miles on this trip as others, we like to paddle at a slower pace. This is usually agreeable with most folks that choose this trip over our longer paddling excursions. The trip covers the shoreline from Miners Beach to Shipwreck Point. Bridal Veil Falls, Kissing Rock, and the Painted Coves highlight this tour.
In total distance you’ll paddle about 5 miles seeing 7 named points along Pictured Rocks Cliff line and 2 waterfalls. We only use double two seat kayaks on all tours. Please bring your own water or drinks. All Skill Levels Welcome on this tour! Suitable ages for this tour are 6yo and up.
Departing from Miners Beach you’ll see the Miners Castle and sea caves at the base of this rock outcropping and then as we paddle north east towards Shipwreck Point the magnificent coloring of rocks being stained by eons of water and mineral seepage down the face of the 200 foot cliffs.
