Groups

Uncle Ducky Outdoors is pleased to offer large groups
such as: Scouts, Church Groups, Private Camps, Church
Camps, Schools, and other non-profit groups a 20%
discount off of our normal rates for any group that
numbers 10 or over.
With
our large inventory of kayaks and canoes we can handle
group sizes up to 50 individuals in kayaks and 25
in canoes on day trips. On overnights we can go up
to 40 in kayaks and 25 in canoes. This is often dictated
by campsites available. We supply all of the equipment,
meals, and tents on the overnight trips.
Ask
about our donation policies of products to non profit
groups for fund raising purposes if your group can
legally participate in fund raising events. These
can often be used to help your members pay for some
of their trip with us.
When
planning a multi-day event normally the hardest reservation
to make is the campsites at most National Parks and
Forests. Dependant upon the time of year requested
these can fill up very fast. In our area the peak
of the summer dates i.e. July 15 to August 15, The
4th of July Week and Labor Day Weekend fill up by
the end of January.
Pictured
Rocks is very hard to do a multi-day trip with a large
group because of the physical location of the group
sites but it can be done with lots of prior planning.
Grand Island has two group campsites- Murray Bay and
Juniper Flats each holding up to 25 persons. Shoreline
Campgrounds such as the Munising Tourist Park and
Bay Furnace as have the ability to hold large groups
up to 25 or more in number at different sites.
Isle Royale groups must be split into smaller groups
of 6. In the Apostle Islands many options are available
to large groups.
If
you have a large group as we have outlined above we
would love to hear from you to get a fun filled kayaking
adventure planned for you. Remember start early in
the winter on the multi-day trips planning.
